Look, we get it - nobody really enjoys reading these things. But we figured you'd wanna know how we handle your info when you're working with us on your project or just browsing around our site.
When you reach out to us or work with us on a project, we'll collect some basic stuff like your name, email, phone number, and property address. Pretty standard.
If you're an active client, we'll also keep records of project details, design preferences, budget info, and any site photos or documents you share with us. All that project-specific data helps us deliver what you're actually looking for.
Our website might collect some technical bits too - IP addresses, browser types, pages you visit - nothing creepy, just helps us understand how folks use the site and where we can improve things.
Your info helps us do our job properly. We use it to communicate with you, develop your designs, coordinate with contractors and consultants, handle permits, and generally manage your project from start to finish.
We might send you updates about your project, answer questions, schedule site visits, or share design iterations. That's the main stuff.
Occasionally, we'll reach out with studio news or info about our services - but only if you've said that's cool. You can opt out anytime, no hard feelings.
We don't sell your data to third parties. That's not how we roll.
Architecture isn't a solo gig. To get your project built, we'll need to share relevant info with structural engineers, contractors, municipal offices, landscape designers, and other consultants depending on what your project needs.
Everyone we work with is bound by professional standards and confidentiality agreements. They only get what's necessary for their part of the work.
If you're cool with it, we might feature your completed project in our portfolio or marketing materials - but we'll always ask first and can keep your name out of it if you prefer staying under the radar.
Legal stuff: we'll disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights, but that's pretty rare.
We take reasonable precautions to protect your information. Our systems use encryption, secure servers, and password protection. Our team knows to handle client data responsibly.
Project files are stored on secure cloud platforms and our internal servers. We keep backups because losing years of work would be a nightmare for everyone involved.
We'll retain your information for as long as needed to complete your project and meet legal requirements - generally around 7-10 years after project completion, which is standard practice in our field. After that, we'll securely dispose of it unless there's a good reason to keep it longer.
Nothing's 100% secure though. We do our best, but can't guarantee absolute security - that's just being honest with you.
You've got rights when it comes to your personal info. You can ask to see what we have on file, request corrections if something's wrong, or ask us to delete your data (with some exceptions for legal and contractual stuff).
Wanna know what info we're holding? Just shoot us an email at studio@crimsonhavenx.info and we'll walk you through it.
If you've signed up for our newsletter or updates, you can unsubscribe anytime using the link at the bottom of our emails.
For active projects, some information retention is necessary to fulfill our professional obligations and protect both of us legally, but we're always open to discussing your concerns.
Our website uses cookies - those little files that remember you visited. They help the site function properly and let us see which pages get the most traffic.
We might use analytics tools like Google Analytics to understand visitor behavior. It's aggregated data, not personally identifying you specifically.
Most browsers let you control cookies through their settings. Disabling them might make some parts of the site less smooth, but you're free to do what works for you.
Sometimes we'll link to other websites - maybe a manufacturer's site, a consultant's portfolio, or industry resources. Once you click through, you're on their turf and their privacy policies apply, not ours.
We try to only link to reputable sites, but we can't control what they do with your data.
We might update this policy from time to time as our practices evolve or regulations change. When we do, we'll update the date at the top and post the revised version here.
For significant changes, we'll try to give you a heads up via email if we have your contact info.
Checking back occasionally isn't a bad idea, especially if it's been a while.
Got questions about this privacy policy or how we handle your information? We're here to talk it through.
